What’s Cookin’ Tonight?!  Try this recipe then let me know how you like it!

My plan for tonight was to have sausage subs with macaroni salad, but I only realized once at home I had no sauce left in my stockpile {so need to get better about knowing whats on hand!} Plus my husband ate two of my sausage links for lunch!

So I decided last minute that I would make some Taco Pasta, and yes, I posted on Facebook last week I made taco soup {tacos is one of my favorite foods 😉 } And one of you readers linked to your taco pasta and has made me hungry for it since!

I had an few of those Philly Cooking Cremes so this recipe is kinda “made into my own” which are my favorite! I don’t always measure perfectly either 😛

Taco Pasta

aprox. 1 lb. ground beef
1 (8 ounce) package rotini pasta or any other pasta you have on hand
chopped onion and garlic to your liking
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can diced tomatoes
1 pkg. of taco seasoning or Fiesta Philly cooking creme
shredded cheese
black olives, optional
corn, optional

  1. Cook pasta according to package
  2. Cook beef with onions and garlic and drain
  3. if using taco seasoning, mix 1/2 cup water into meat and then seasoning
  4. If using creme add
  5. Add beans, corn, black olives, tomatoes or anything else you want to add
  6. Mix meat and pasta together
  7. Garnish with shredded cheese
