Weekly post about how you are doing…I am going to highlight my trip to CVS today, because I want to show you how you can get things you need and “roll” your ECB, for those who are new at CVS.
So I went to CVS this morning and got this:
CVS .30 OOP Got 17 ECB
3 Ragu for 5.00 used 1.25/3 in 1/31 RP
2 Hellman’s Mayonnaise 5.99/2 [BOGO Free] used 1.00/2 in 1/31 RP
1 Reinventing Beauty Magazine for .99¢ [has numerous coupons inside, that makes it well worth it]
1 Colgate Fresh Max Toothpaste for 2.99 used 1.00/1 in 1/31 SS
2 Dove Men’s Body and Fash Wash 5.49 eachx2= 10.98 used [2] 1.25/1 in 1/31 RP
Total was 25.95 – 5.75 in coupons=20.20 used [2] 6 ECB and [1] 8 ECB Final Total Out of Pocket was .30¢ with tax and got back 17 ECB to use next week!
I understand not everyone has the Extra Care Bucks to use to do this transaction, but I just wanted to point out how shopping at CVS can be beneficial to your pantry and pocket!
Here is a scenario to newbies:
Buy 1 Dove Mens wash for 5.49 use 1.25/1 coupon in 1/31 RP pay 4.24 OOP get 5.49 ECB
Buy 6 Ragu Sauces for 10.00 use [2] 1.25/3 in 1/31 RP=7.50 use the 5.49 ECB from above=2.01 OOP get back 3 ECB
Buy 1 Colgate Max Fresh Toothpaste for 2.99 use 1.00/1 in 1/31 SS=1.99 Buy .99 Beauty Mag use 3 ECB from above. Pay nothing OOP
Get back 2 ECB for next week! So total OOP=6.25 and have 2.00 to spend next week [and do it all again] for over 25.00 worth of merchandise.
