DIY: Homemade Bath Crayons!

Bath Crayons are not something I buy regularly but I am always on the hunt for project my kids can do with me, and making my own bath crayons would not only be fun to make but then fun to use later!

You just need:

  • 1 1/4 cups hot water
  • 1 bar of soap
  • Food coloring or soap dye
  • Essential oils, if desired
  • Soap molds
  • Cookie cutters/knife

Jenny from The Peaceful Housewife tells you the steps to make your own Bath Crayons!

I love to have “teaching” time in the tub with foam letters and now I can use these to help “teach” colors and let my sons have fun “drawing” on the tub :)

**Side note: I hope no English teachers read my blog, because the sentence above has to be the longest run on sentence 😉 and I am such a poor speller–I probably drive you all nuts huh?! This sentence probably has grammar errors too

  1. Thank you so much for sharing from my blog! :-)

  2. This is a good one. I usually make soap paint for the kids. Some of their bath soap in bowls or ice tray, and then add food coloring and let them paint away. They just love it. I will have to try this one. :o)

  4. My kids love to color in the tub! This is great. Thank you so much.
