A few of my friends and I enjoy sharing which books we are reading and if we liked them or if we should avoid them, so I thought I would post some of the books I am reading currently, or have read recently. I will only post reviews of a few at a time, and then post the titles of ones I am going to read or review next.
Hopefully if you enjoy reading new titles and hearing some thoughts on them you will enjoy this too!
If you like this type of post, please comment, so I know I should continue to share
50 Shades of Grey three book series: I heard about this book from my neighbor, and was intrigued that she would be reading a book like this so I bought it DESPITE the negative reviews on Amazon. I was worried I wouldn’t like it, but I really did like it. In fact I bought the second and third books before I was done with the first.
I am a pretty open minded person so these books didn’t seem like “too much” to me. I really enjoyed the relationship between Ana and Christian. I read all three books with in a week.
Actually I have reread all three books again! So definitely a good read in my opinion!
On a Island: It was raining and I just wanted a good book to get lost in for a little before bed. I ordered this book since it was pretty inexpensive and seem like a good story. I finished this book in ONE NIGHT! I couldn’t put it down!
I don’t want to give much away for this book, but will say I really enjoyed the way this book turned out and the series of events and the way they happened.
This was NOT a book about sex, and not like 50 Shades of Gray in those terms but about the relationship between Anna and T.J.
Ketchup is a Vegetable: And Other Lies Moms Tell Themselves: This book was a freebie at one time, and I grabbed it then. Reading this when I had a minute or two for a chapter. Read it in bits and pieces
The book is a series of short stories so there was no rush for me to “move on to the next chapter” as other books. I enjoyed the stories and literally loud out loud numerous times, being able to relate to some.
This is a fun easy book to read for any mom!
